Hoje, i) banda desenhada, ii) jornalismo, iii) webdesign: raramente não usamos os textos base que o zeitgeist fornece para outras leituras além das intencionadas, hoje não será excepção. Seguem-se insinuações a sentidos maiores contra (a) cultura em conformidade, e começamos do webdesign. Podem ler o excerto escolhido pelo seu face value, no qual explanam sobre a homogeneização da arte à razão da economia de recursos, ou podem escolher entendê-lo no eterno embate entre indivíduo e as massas apáticas rendidas ao conveniente ou a elas obrigadas.
What should be made of this creeping conformity? On the one hand, adhering to trends is totally normal in other realms of design, like fashion or architecture. They’re also more user-friendly, since new visitors won’t have to spend as much time learning how to navigate the site’s pages. On the other hand, the internet is a shared cultural artifact, and its distributed, decentralized nature is what makes it unique. As home pages and fully customizable platforms fade into memory, web design may lose much of its power as a form of creative expression. Consolidation is bad for the "health" of the internet, and the aesthetics of the web could be seen as one element of its well-being.

The news media needs to be reclaimed as a public good, it should not be seen as the playground of a few billionaires. The saddest sign would be for us to emerge from this pandemic with a handful of billionaires controlling all of our news.

News outlets around the world have faced measures to muzzle critical reporting in an environment that has already seen dozens of journalists harassed, arrested and censored by governments, according to editors and press freedom groups. The pandemic had given countries the chance to take advantage of the fact that politics are on hold, the public is stunned and protests are out of the question, in order to impose measures that would be impossible in normal times. Unless there was a dramatic culture shift towards news media, the integrity of independent journalism could be at risk.

Aqui gostaríamos de vos dizer que eles conversam de BD e nós lemos de outros sentidos, mas – confissão: não sobrevivemos à introdução, guardámos para outro dia — suspeitamos que os próprios também não falam de BD. Noutro blog chamaram-lhe "Pós-BD" 3 maio 2020, e basta-nos às conclusões que unem as três entradas e como se escrevem narrativas: nunca desperdiçar uma boa crise, importa pensar o que vem depois, e podemos começar pelo que sabemos que não queremos.
