Hoje no Fleen 19 nov 2018 a propósito do Sparky ("and by Sparky, I of course mean Facebook") com o Tumblr & Flickr à mistura mas vocês acrescentem os vossos à lista.
I don’t want to lose the readers, but at a certain point supporting FB becomes a tacit endorsement of what they do… and besides, if they’re not actually showing my stuff to the readers there anyway […] I personally have doubled my facebook "audience" since then, but my reach among them has dropped.

Políticas à parte — u know, como o FB está a destruir a sociedade yadda yadda yadda — e admitindo que os nossos artistas só se ocupam de decorar o mundo que temos, zero intenções acrescidas de o mudar mais além, apelamos ao seu narcisismo crónico (*) Arte, pelo Artista: "porque o que eu tenho a dizer é importante e especial". Leram-no aqui nOS POSITIVOS: escritos especialmente importantes. para alguma reação.
Caros, o FB só mostra os vossos conteúdos aos vossos seguidores quando vocês lhe pagam: é parte do seu modelo de negócio.

A fairly fundamental question: why post content for free to Facebook, who then sells ads and makes money that they don’t share with him, and which further charges him money to actually deliver his posts that might make him money so he can afford to keep making the content they’re monetizing? Why should anybody?

2) Um pequeno recap em state-of-the-art como chegámos aqui, o perigo evidente, e a solução previdente.
There’s been a major shift away from webcomics folk maintaining their own sites in the past few years, with Tumblr and various portal-type sites (Taptastic, Webtoon) offering free hosting and eyeballs that might not have landed on an individual site in this mostly post-RSS (and bookmarkless) world. But any time you rely on somebody else’s infrastructure to run your business/art/lifestyle/whatever, you run the possibility of it being taken away by somebody whose priorities are not yours. So use other (free) services all you like, but keep your content someplace besides the free service. For the sake of your work and my peace of mind, keep a copy someplace so you can rebuild when the free service du jour decides you don’t get to use them for free (or at all) after today.

3) E nenhum paper (triplo pun!) fica completo sem conclusões. A nossa para alienar os (portuguese) content makers que se demoram pelo Facebook e tumblrgrams. Porque não se importam eles de arriscar perder o seu business/art/lifestyle/whatever se essas plataformas lhes puxam o tapete debaixo dos pés? Porque, lá no fundo, sentem que quando esse dia chegar, não se vai perder grande coisa. Ouch! (*) Aplausos..
